Today, I added pictures to my Fakebook sites and cited them by taking screenshots of the source name. After I took the screenshots, I put them in the “Sources I’ve Used” section of the page.

Why I Did It

I added pictures to spruce up my page. I used screenshots so viewers of my page could easily see where I got my pictures without having to search somewhere else or ask me.

• To supply proper documentation for the pictures I used

• I finished drafting all the posts for both Fakebook pages

Why I Did It

• I wanted to have all of the posts written so when I made the Fakebook page, content wound be done and all I would have to do is work on the format and setting up the site.

Documentation

I will more than likely use photos I have taken myself to enhance the sites. I will document the sources I used that tell the original Ant and Grasshopper story through a “Pages you liked” section on the Fakebook page. Those should be the only outside sources I use. I chose this method because it will be an easy and discreet way to incorporate citing the sources without taking away from the purpose of the page.

I’m soo not looking forward biochem this semester :( but I’m determined to make Dean’s List this semester

Spring Semester

Taking 18 credits of some of my hardest classes is going to be a killer, but I’ve got to stay on the grind! I’ve got to make Dean’s List this semester!

What I Did

• I started creating posts for my Fakebook page
• I also plan on adding more posts

Why I Did It

• I wanted to get the content finished so that I can just go make the Fakebook page and add pictures and make other tweeks
•  I will add more posts to make the Fakebook page complete and to express activities over the entire semester

What I Did

Why I Did It

• To organize my plans for Project 4
• I changed the genre because I wasn’t sure if I would be able to make a quality movie in the time I have in the midst of other projects and responsibilities. I also think I could create and design a better project with this genre, while challenging myself and taking risks.
• I looked at the Fakebook website ahead of time so I can have a better idea of what I need to do before I create the actual page.

2. What Makes a Good Digital Story:

The Beauty and the Beast Facebook page was the best, in my opinion, because it imitated a Facebook page almost exactly. It looked so real that I wanted to click on links. It was simple enough, like Facebook, but it had real content.

3. Stories I Am Considering

-recreating certain historical crises

-recreating videos I’ve seen

I would like to steer toward nonfiction scenarios because I enjoy watching and reading things that are real. I also feel as though I would do a better job at recreating these types of stories because I can relate to some of them.
