]]> What I Did: I added an entire media gallery showing some of the pictures that I have taken on my adventures around the world. You can view this page labeled “Media Page: My Adventures” next to the “About Me” tab across the top of the homepage.

Why I Did It: I did this because throughout the site I talk about how important travel is to me and how my online presence is one displaying my photographs that I have taken around the world. I figured telling was fine, but showing and telling is really the only way any viewer will understand why I am so passionate about traveling. These photographs mean a lot to me and I want to share them with the world (but the class will do).

]]> What I Heard In Peer Review: I was told that I had a few grammatical errors in my “About Me” section. I was also told that my placeholder pages haven’t been set up yet. In addition, the viewer thought my webpage needed more color and visual stimuli.

What I Need To Do: I need to proofread every sentence to make sure that they are grammatically correct. I also need to create pages for the remaining class projects where I can add information in the future. Finally, I need to customize my website to be more bright and colorful so it is visually appealing to my audience.

]]> What I Did: Since my last blog post, I added the entire “About Me’ section. This section includes a little bit of a background on what I consider to be my life motto, what my online presence is like, and why I created this website.

Why I Did It: I included these details on my blog because if someone is going to be reviewing your website, they should have some information on who you are and why you are doing what you’re doing. Including information about the author is a way to make a website, book, article, or any type of multimodal text personal. I thought adding this section to my webpage made it feel complete.
