The audience the Meograph tries to reach is the larger brand companies who are trying to create new and innovative ad campaigns. They seem to have reached a few large brands as illustrated, and use the connection with those few to help reach out elsewhere

Purpose:

As briefly stated above, the purpose of Meograph is to help companies create new ad campaigns in which their audience is able to interact on a more personal basis. their purpose is also clearly stated on their homepage which reads “Make your customers your storytellers.”

Context:

The website is more visually based, that is, there is very little text. Even when going to find directions on how to create a video, connect with companies, etc there are visuals that help you understand how to do whatever you are looking for. The layout of the website is set up to be user friendly in a way that text is minimal in hopes of making the website more visually appealing. This helps to retain users for longer periods of time.

I would categorize this website as a shop genre because of its overall goal. While Meograph does not explicitly try to sell anything in particular, the general idea of the service is exactly that, its a service.
