made a blog, chose a them, titled it, now i’m making a post. it’s been riveting.

but really, i’ve used wordpress before to host my work. (if you’re into reading your classmates’ embarrassing love poems, i highly suggest clicking that link). i picked the theme “oxygen” because it seems appropriate for this class; i usually go for simpler black and white themes for my writing. oxygen is more lively: it has a few colors thrown in and a place for a header image. it also has a nifty sidebar, which will be useful for navigation. keeping my online identity project in mind, i named my blog “designing myself,” restating the theme of online presentation and how i have the ability to control it. i added a fun little header image (found here) because it made me laugh, and went a little overboard and added the above image as well.
