What I Did:

Today i created my first blog entitled Ag-vocacy. I have chosen a theme, title, URL and header image for this site.

Why I Did It:

The title of my blog “Ag-vocacy” depicts my intended career path. As a public relations major and agricultural enthusiast, my dream emphasis would be combatting common misconceptions held by the public regarding the agriculture industry. I chose the theme because it is visually pleasing and simple. I also liked the large header photo format. The header image is a photo taken at a farm in Blacksburg where i board my horse. I think it is a striking image that emphasizes the beauty in agriculture. The url for this blog is agvocacyvt because of the blog title, and my involvement with Virginia Tech. I am involved with multiple agricultural organizations at Virginia Tech including Sigma Alpha and Block & Bridle.
