Today, I selected my theme and played around with different customizations.

What I Did

1) I selected the theme for my site. I chose “Plane.” It’s a pretty simple yet very useable theme.

2) I played around with different color combinations and such within the “Plane” theme.

Why I Did It

1) I really liked the way the header set up the page. I like how the all caps looks for the title, as well as the color scheme separating the menu bar, the header, and the content of the site. It looks like it will make terrific use of white space while also maintaining a little uniqueness with the header and menu bar color scheme.

2) I tampered a little with the color schemes and almost picked one that was heavy on brown but I ultimately decided that the blue-focused scheme was the most appealing.
