What I did: Today I added a Menu sidebar to the main page of my blog. I also added a follow button and a link to an about page that I created. I included basic facts about myself and the purpose of this blog to the description on the about page. I explored other themes, but I decided to keep the original theme that I chose.

Why I did it: I added an about page because I liked the Lynda.com video example that included a short description of the blog’s purpose. And I added a Menu sidebar because I believe every site needs a menu to help users navigate through different pages and links. I tested out other themes, but decided to keep the one I picked when I created my blog because I like the color options and the simplicity of design. Next time I work on the blog, I hope to explore more widgets.
