WHAT I DID

Today I settled on a theme for my blog. I changed it from Eighties to Penscratch. I also added a header picture of myself and explored the widgets a bit for further customization later on when I’m more familiar with them.

WHY I DID IT

I chose Penscratch over Eighties because although I liked the flashy, large style of Eighties it wasn’t practical and I also wasn’t sure how to keep my site title, “lindsay with an a” on one line with that theme. Penscratch has a neat looking title/header section but the emphasis is on the body, where it should be. I added a header picture because the page had too much white space for my liking. It is the same picture I used for my online identity piece. I’m interested in making my blog more involved and that’s why I’m looking into putting some widgets into the sidebar later.
