Reflection:

I found that all of my examples utilized atleast the linguistic, visual and spatial modes of communication. Multiple examples included audial as well, but only a few exemplified gestural. Five of my 15 examples demonstrated all 5 modes. One of my favorite representations of all five modes is the Tinder app, because most iPhone apps don’t utilize gestural communication, but through images of potential matches, Tinder relies on the gestural mode of communication. I have attached an image of this app to demonstrate its use of 4 out of the 5 modes. The fifth mode, audial i cannot express through an image, but the app makes alerts when you have a match, or are messaged by an match. I discovered that between my iPhone and Macbook, the examples were endless, these devices are also where i was able to find the best examples that utilized 4 or 5 modes. When i first began the “dig”, i though it would be difficult to find 10 items that fit these categories, but as i began searching i found almost anything i grabbed utilized these modes.
