I found that most of my items were linguistic, having some written text on them. I also noticed that Linguistic and Visual usually go hand in hand. Every item in my list that was linguistic was also categorized as visual, because the texts I chose all strongly utilize layouts, colors, and images to enhance its linguistic meaning. The only two items that were visual but not linguistic, were items with no words at all. First, I had a sticker that has the SOVA logo on it, a design which has no words, and the american flag bandana which is simply the american flag design. I also put this item down as gestural because of the activities and movement that is associated with the bandana and flag itself.
The other items that I had which included Aural were my Apple headphones and the sound of my zipper unzipping as I was doing this activity. I did not have any items that hosted all 5 multimodal texts.
