The multimodal texts in my backpack are:
- advertising textbook (linguistic, visual, spatial)
- binder (linguistic, visual, spatial)
- notepad (linguistic, visual, spatial)
- crumpled up papers from last semester (linguistic, visual)
- audio recorder (visual, aural)
- chapstick (linguistic, visual)
- alkaline batteries (visual, linguistic)
- headphones (aural, visual)
- highlighter (visual, linguistic)
- wallet (visual, linguistic, spatial)
The most modes per item I found in my backpack was my advertising textbook, which utilized three of them. I noticed most of the items have visual and linguistic elements, as it is difficult to have a text and not have it have some sort of visual design or words on it. A lot of the texts were similar, such as my advertising textbook, binder, and crumpled up papers from last semester. Probably the most different texts I have are the audio recorder, it is the only aural text I have, and the chapstick.
