What I did.
Since my last post I’ve worked a little on my blog. First, I made a post on a multimodal communication activity I did in class. I categorized texts in my backpack, shot a photo of all the items, uploaded it as the feature photo on the post then posted!
Today, I added a bit more to my about me. I first added a new description to the dictionary like about me I have. Then I added a few sentences at the end encouraging readers to check out my blog.
I then read through the examples of who to create a colophon page. However, I have some questions about it and plan on working on it more over the weekend.
Why I did it.
Firstly, I completed the last blog as a class assignment. However, I chose to use a photo of my “dig” in an effort to make my site illustrate strong visual communication.
I then decided to add a little bit more to my about page so that readers could feel even more connected to my blog. Since J.D. is my all-time favorite author, I find myself talking about his books as well as his life regularly. So, since he is a common conversation starter for me, I thought it only fitting to include that fact. I chose to add the call to action at the end in order to gain more readership of my actual blog page.
