What I Did
Today I created a Projects page that includes tabs for the three remaining projects for this semester. I also created my Site Information page that includes information about the different parts of my WordPress blog, explaining how and why I made certain decisions I made when creating and adding to my blog. Finally, I also changed around the names of my Home and About Me pages so that About Me is now the title within the Home page and there is no separate About Me page. Instead, I created a page titled Blog Posts so I now have Home and Blog Posts rather than Home and About Me.
Why I Did It
I created a Projects page so that my audience will be able to find my projects easier, rather than just embedding them within my blog posts and forcing people to have to scroll through and locate which posts contain the links to my projects.
I created a Site Information page so that readers can better understand how I created my blog and why I made the design choices that I did as I created it. This will be helpful for readers in case they are interested in why I formatted my blog the way that I did instead of another way.
I chose to make changes to my pages and page titles because in my opinion it makes more sense for the About Me section to go under the Home section instead of the Home section to include my blog posts and then have the About Me section to the right of the Home page. Readers will go straight into reading my blog posts without even knowing who I am and don’t think that makes much sense, nor is it very user friendly. So, for this reason, I chose to add a page titled Blog Posts instead of keeping my posts under the Home page.
