One day last week, I was texting someone who is an acquaintance but we are not very close. We were discussing an organization of which we are both members. I was trying to type a phrase and since I type fast, I sent it without proofreading first. When I tried to correct the phrase (still typing quickly) auto correct changed the word to something different. So after about 3 times of this happening, I had sent all these encrypted fragments that didn’t make sense and caused the conversation to become awkward by having to apologize on behalf of auto correct.

Some affordances were that it gave me several options and suggestions on what to say and that it was trying to recognize what I was trying to say.

Constraints are that it definitely miscommunicated the message and it didn’t allow me to type what I wanted the first time.
