Autocorrect Stories

I have had many experiences with auto correct, not only with my use of it but someone else typing it to me as well. My advisor at Tech’s name is Dr. Evia, and when I type this on g-mail, it automatically corrects to “Dr. Evil”. Fortunately, I always read over my e-mails (especially professional ones) before sending them, so I was able to save myself from sending an “evil” message. On the other hand, my mom doesn’t always wear her glasses while texting me and if she’s typing quickly, she will just allow autocorrect to change the wording, and not check it over before sending it. I have received many confusing sentences, but because I’m so accustomed to the autocorrect thanks to iPhones, I can usually interpret what she meant. She’s sent me a few, “getting care” instead of “getting car” or “Are you awakening?” instead of “Are you awake?” At least it provides for some laughs.
