One of the things that stood out to me when looking at the example essays was the usage of tabs and the layout of “The Video Star Verdict” project. Of the four examples, I thought that the organization shown in this project was the most clear, the easiest to follow, and the simplest to read. Having specific tabs and sub tabs for each section of the essay avoids large blocks of text which intimidate the reader, and encourage the mind to move from topic to topic as they move from tab to tab. Some of the other examples, like “Haiku Deck,” read as one long block of text, which grew redundant.
In my project, I think I will try to emulate a similar organization style using tabs and sub tabs so that the sections are short, readable, and engaging.
