What I will apply:

My group analyzed the PowToon presentation website interrogation. I found that I really liked how the author broke up her sections into subheadings under in the menu bar under the “Interrogate the Interface” tab. She had a lot of content and this helped break it up into sections that made reading it easier. As well, she implemented a couple of screen shots that helped give reference to the reader as to what she was specifically referring to.

What I won’t apply:

The order in which she added her subheadings was a little frustrating. There was no landing introduction page that explained the purpose of the assignment or what she was analyzing right off the bat. Instead she went straight into the affordances aspect of her site analysis without helping the reader understand what was being afforded to them. Also her “Leave a Reply” section took too much space at the end of some of her pages and became distracting from the main focus of the page.
