While looking through the website that my group evaluated today, I learned a lot of things that would be good and bad for my ‘Interrogate an Interface’ project, particularly the way I set it up on my website.
Its obvious that the navigation needs aesthetic elements. The site we looked at had way too much text, and way too little picture/video/color/etc. It will be a focus of mine to make sure that I use as many picture and possibly video evidence as I can to support statements I make.
My initial thoughts about how to set up each page for this project is to treat it as a BuzzWord-type list. Where I use a picture to describe what I’m saying, with a sentence or two description. Obviously, this won’t hold true for everything, as a lot of the stuff that I talk about will require much more than a sentence or two, but this is my initial brainstorm.
