over spring break, i thoroughly checked out the tool i’m looking at (text2mindmap). i made vague list of strengths and weaknesses, then went back over it to organize each list point into categories: design, usability, details, and resources–i’ll probably use this to outline my essay later. i made this list while playing with the tool, making maps. i made at least five different types of maps to display the site’s capabilities (colors, charts, regular maps, intricately connected maps, colored ones, etc.) and took screen shots of all of those. i also explore the site past the tool itself to take screen shots of the site’s resources.
