Today I focused on working on my essay and outlining each specific part in more detail.  Below is the “what I did” part but to quickly explain “why I did it,” I did it because this way of organization works best for me and I got a lot accomplished!  Here’s what I came up with:

Rhetorical Situation

• Audience
  • Someone who needs to get their life in order/recognize all the things they’re involved with
  • A college student who wants to demonstrate their interests (mainly professional such as websites or digital content they’ve made)
  • Tech-savvy people (intermediate level and above because it does get a bit complex)
  • The owner of the account is the one responsible for the context that is generated and displayed on their personal site; however, others may leave comments just as they would on say Facebook.

  • To organize your interests
  • To show your friends what you’re doing
  • To demonstrate personal work
  • To share social things (such as YouTube videos or web articles)
