Here’s what I heard during peer review.
Today I brought in a rough draft of my web essay and worked through a peer review. After speaking with my partner, we found I need to change my “overview” page to intro and then add an additional overview page. As far as the structure of my web essay, my partner and I decided the use of heading to break up sections was good and that I needed to add images. Lastly, I tried once again to solve my “no images showing” problem.
What I need to work on.
Firstly, the changing/ addition of an overview page is something I need to add in order to highlight how exactly to use the interface. Since the interface is easy to generate in four easy step, I felt it necessary to include a “walk through” section to give readers and even more thorough understanding of the interface. Additionally, I need to add images following each block of text in my web essay. I plan to do this to break up the information in a way that is most conducive to the web and in a way that is both visually appealing and consistent. Lastly, I spoke with Traci to try and figure out how to get my timeline images to show up. She told me to try and upload them to WordPress to generate a usable URL. So, I will work on doing so over the weekend.
