post for 3/23/15

after i rudely stumbled in late (my alarm clock and mind are at constant battle–but can we talk about how i woke up at 9:50 and got myself lookin fab in fifteen minutes?) i was able to catch the last few presentations of my classmates. even though i only saw a handful, all the sites and tools on them seemed so great! i especially liked one called “audioboom,” a website and phone app that let’s you upload, share, and listen to audio files like podcasts or music. i assume that everything is uploaded there under legal terms, so you can’t download your favorite tunes, but that’s ok! i think i’m definitely going to check out some of the podcasts on there, as i’ve wanted to get into a few but never know where to find them. sadly, caroline (the presenter) said the phone app wasn’t the best–it’s pretty much the pandora of the podcast world; you can only select a category and then shuffle your way through files until you find one you like. but even then, maybe i’ll find something great that way! i’m definitely going to check it out.

also, everyone had such great presentations and were extremely well-spoken!
