What Makes A Good Remix & What Makes A Good Digital Story

I think to get a good remix you have to take something simple and make it unique.  There’s definitely a fine line with projects like this and if you take something that’s already super complicated and try to spin it and add a bunch of aspects it can just blow up.  A lot of the project examples were also of stories that were more on the common side (aka choosing Harry Potter versus an old Russian Folk tale form the 1400s…no competition).

 

Stories I Am Considering

All of the projects I’m looking at are books from my childhood. I like doing projects and choosing subjects that I have a connection to because I definitely think I do better when I’m passionate about the subject.  These are some of the childhood books I love the best and am considering doing:
