One of the main strengths of my draft was the incorporation of all the modes of communication in my video. In addition, I was pretty successful in modernizing the story through the incorporation of modern music and also by making the “Franny” character seem more like a 20 something today, rather than a character from the 1800’s. As far as problems, I was told I need to create some type of transition in my video from telling the story to providing my commentary on modern takes on the anthem (e.g.: Christina messing up the words). For rhetoric, everything seemed in line with my audience, as I want to modernize the story so that it appeals more to younger generations. As far as the addition of more multimodal elements, I’m fairly set as I was certain from the start to incorporate all modes.

As I work on the revision, here are some of the key things I need to keep in mind and work on. I need to add in the sound elements to my video as well as add a transition and end credits. I need to make these to overall enhance the flow of my project, make it much more entertaining, and to add credibility. These changes are definitely able to be made before the next due date.
