What I Did: Today, I set up organizational tags for your blog posts. I labeled the primary category as “In-class Posts” because most of what I write on this blog will be in class. I also added categories for all the projects, except for project 1 since that one is already completed. I also changed the title of my blog from “Digital Media Blog”.  I also added a tagline that is displayed below the title that says “Life through a digital lens”.

Why I Did It: I set up categorical tags for my posts because I would like my website to be as organized as possible. I changed my title to “Writing & Digital Media” because the first title I had was too vague. I figured it would be more practical and go straight to the point of saying this is a blog for my writing and digital media class. I added the tagline because I think it gave my site an extra unique quality that it lacked. I think the tagline “Life through a digital lens” is a cool way to restate that I will be using digital media to express my thoughts and opinions.
