I had many autocorrect fails while I was in high school.  We would always use the school computers that wouldn’t save our preferences and would reset every time we logged on.  Well, this was always an issue for my last name.  Microsoft Word would always autocorrect my last name from Vogrig to Virgin.  Knowing that I typed my last name in correctly, I never thought to double check it for several papers.  Until on one paper, my English teacher pointed it out.  It was extremely embarrassing, but from then on I always checked to make sure that my last name wasn’t Virgin.

Luckily now I write all of my papers on my own machine, and I have my last name saved in my dictionary for Word.  I will never ever turn in another assignment with my last name as Virgin.
