I can’t really think of a specific time that autocorrect has completely ruined my life by replacing what I had typed with the wrong thing, but I have had my name autocorrected in texts from other people before. Usually, if someone is trying to type my name it will come up as “brain,” not “Brian.” It’s not really a terrible, inexcusable mistake because people have actually done this while writing my name before. I find it pretty funny, actually.
